Patchwork Dichroic Fused Glass Brooch Set 3 Colour choice

Dichroic Fused Glass Brooches.  The patchwork design glass cabochon for these brooches are all handmade, by me, with love.  Perfect as Valentine or Mother’s Day gift. Fused in my glass kiln to very high temperatures, 1500 degrees F and annealed for strength. The cabochons are formed from 2 layers of carefully hand-cut fusing glass Coe 90. The bottom layer coloured bullseye glass. The top, a random patchwork arrangement of precious dichroic glass. When they come out of the kiln I am like a child in a sweetie shop, they look so delicious. I have a choice of 6 for you, to select please click the little picture of the one you want and add to your basket. The brooches in this set are numbered 085 091 102 103 104 and 105  The dichroic layer rather magically reflects or refracts different colours as they catch the light (the word dichroic comes from Greek and means 2 coloured). The cabachon is attached to a silver plated brooch pin back with E6000 strongest adhesive. My brooches vary slightly in size but are approximately 3 cm x 3.5cm but size varies a little according to the glass I have chosen for each.  I can make no promise of symmetry and they are not designed to be, they are handcut glass and glass has a mind of its own and once fusing the kiln that does its own thing too. This is especially the case when I use a patchwork of different glass like these as some dichroic glass is thicker, more textured than others. Made with and by Joy to be given with love.
