HC-SR501 PIR Motion Detector Sensor Module is a pyroelectric device that detects motion by measuring changes in the infrared levels emitted by surrounding objects. This motion can be detected by checking for a high signal on a single I/O pin. IR sensor module is adaptable to the environment, with a working voltage of 3.3 V to 5 V. It has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tubes when detecting direction meet with obstacles (reflecting surface), reflected infrared receiving by the tube. Photoresistor also is known as LDR(Light Dependent Resistor) as the names imply, changes the resistance with the variation in the amount of light.
