We acknowledge our responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers of goods and services to the organisation.

2. Our Business & Supply Chain

We are a tea company specialising in loose leaf tea, matcha and teabags for Catering and Retail. Our supply chain includes:

  • Packaging manufacturers and logistics providers.

  • Wholesale and retail distributors.

3. Our Policies

We operate several internal policies to ensure we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:

  • Recruitment: We operate a robust recruitment policy, including conducting eligibility to work in the UK checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.

  • Sourcing/Wholesale: We are committed to sourcing our tea from smallholders and suppliers who provide fair working conditions and adhere to local labour laws.

4. Due Diligence

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we:

  • Build long-standing relationships with our suppliers, customers and partners and make our expectations of business behaviour clear.

  • Perform risk assessments of our supply chain to identify potential areas of vulnerability (e.g., specific geographic regions or seasonal labour).

  • Encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistleblowers.

5. Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide relevant training to our staff members involved in procurement and supply chain management.
