DMC Crochet Amigurumi Pattern – Birds and keepsake pouch This DMC birds and keepsake pouch crochet amigurumi pattern has been designed by Liz Ward.  The pattern makes a variety of birds ranging in sizes from 5 x 9.5cm to 8 x 11.5cm approx.  There is also a pattern for a adorable bag / pouch to put the birds in afterwards (or anything else for that matter!!).  There is a pattern for a short tail bird, long tail bird, a short petal tail bird, long petal tail bird, a wide petal bird, the pouch and a heart. In addition to yarn (DMC recommend Natura Just Cotton), will will also need a 3mm crochet hook, polyfibre stuffing, stitch markers, 4mm safety eyes, felt for the beaks and narrow ribbon. This project is ideal for intermediate crocheters and the pattern has clear instructions, including a visual stitch guide.
