A loop with a gate enable segmentation of a race. These can be used to create a waiting pen behind a cattle crush for example, stopping the next animal in line from reversing back. These greatly improve work efficiency. If working as a two man team, one man can concentrate on moving cows forward into the holding pen, while the other concentrates on the task in hand.
