As all other Google Android devices you will be asked to pick your preferred language out of those supported by the Android OS. Out of the box this phone is pre-installeds with more than 10 languages: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, English, French, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Filipino, Malaysia, Burmese, Bengalese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Lao, Thai, Uyghur, Nepali, Tibetan and Khmer. Users feedbacked that it can work in most countries in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. A “region lock” will likely appear after around 10 reboots of the phone outside China. If that happens you will likely need to find a vendor online who are able to remove that lock remotely for you, at a fairly low cost. (We indeed tried ourselves and it worked!) Google Play is NOT installed by default as a product in China market, but user is free to install it through APK file since the phone is installed with a complete Google framework) Some users suggested that with the help of 3rd party app “MoreLocale 2” it can support some more languages such as: Spanish, German, Italian, Norwegian, Dutch, Polish and Czech.
